It's been about 20 years since Aaron Lindgren first set foot through Mercy Home's doors. In that time, he's grown from a troubled young man plagued by the instability of life with his alcoholic mother to an accomplished young chef and loving father.

The change wasn't easy—it took time, and a few missteps, for Aaron to heal and adjust to the discipline and structure of Mercy Home. But he, like so many of our young people, finally found the confidence and strength here that he so desperately needed.

Aaron attended culinary school and perfected his craft under the tutelage of world-renowned chef Charlie Trotter and in restaurants in Hollywood and Las Vegas. He is now a distinguished chef in his own right, as well as a proud father and tireless advocate for Mercy Home.
