Girls Home Learning Center Completed

"Everyone is in awe of this space," said Karlee, an Education Coordinator at Mercy Home. "The space is comfortable and the girls can spread out."

Completed just in time for the new school year, the Girls Home Computer Learning Center features a beautiful new library, larger study spaces and updated computer equipment. Thanks to you, our girls now have a better place to read, study and grow into confident students--and adults.

"I've noticed more girls checking out books and utilizing the library," said Elizabeth, Manager of School Resources at Mercy Home. "The room is more comfortable now so more girls can sit and read." Due to our generous donors, the library now has multiple copies of books and the school supply closet is now equally stocked so that our girls can be prepared for school.

Before the desperately needed remodeling, the girls were limited to cramped study carrels, often sitting too closely to be productive. Now, thanks to good friends like you, our girls have a quiet, accessible space to work with their tutors.

The girls have started another school year and are excited about learning. You made their future brighter--and for that we are most grateful.
