Graduates' Luncheon

Each year the Leader Council of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls honors the accomplishments of its student graduates through this unique event. Here, these young men and women are given center stage, in a sold-out room, where prestigious guests and notable community leaders join in celebrating their triumphs. The program features youth speakers who share their experiences at Mercy Home and describe how education is helping them create change in their lives.

The luncheon is the culmination of the Leader Council's work year round to improve educational opportunities for young people at Mercy Home. The event raises funds for scholarships that help open more doors to opportunity and helps enlist other prominent, caring and influential volunteers in the community to help our young people succeed.

The Leader Council Graduates Luncheon also allows us to congratulate the young men and women at Mercy Home who have worked hard to overcome complex life challenges and graduate from Chicago-area grammar schools, high schools, trade schools and colleges.
