Liz Kuhn

Liz is the Manager of MercyWorks. Liz was a MercyWorks volunteer during the first year of the program from 2001-2002.  She volunteered in the Admissions Department from 2001-2002 and also returned to work there from 2004-2005.  Prior to returning to Mercy Home as the Manager of MercyWorks, she spent five years as a Program Coordinator and Department Chair at a charter high school in Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in New York.  She can be reached via lizkuh [at] mercyhome [dot] org" target="_blank">email or by phoning 312-738-7566.

Katie Keller Smith

Katie is the Director of Volunteer Programs. She has worked at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls since July of 2002. Katie has directed the Mercy Works program for 7 years and currently oversees both MercyWorks as well as the Friends First mentoring program and Volunteer Resources. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts in 1997, she served as a Jesuit Volunteer in Santa Ana, California and then did fundraising for several years at an all-girls school in Boston. Katie holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry, also from Boston College.
