Aussies Embrace Chicago Bears by Throwing the Ultimate Viewing Event

WHAT: …will turn into a veritable Australian marketplace as the property hosts Escape the Winter: Experience Australia. Coinciding with the 2011 NFC Championship game, this year’s spirited “walkabout” will embrace Chicago Bears fans by offering them the ultimate game viewing event. The game will be shown live on multiple high-definition 50” flat-screen TVs that will be positioned throughout the 16th floor of Trump Chicago, allowing guests to watch every play of the game, while enjoying complimentary Australian street food, more than 30 wines provided by Wine Australia and brews from Coopers Beer.
Throughout the afternoon (and to fill time during commercial breaks), attendees can browse an aboriginal art fair, enjoy live music and attend hourly wine seminars. Trump Executive Chef (and Melbourne native) Frank Brunacci and renowned Chef Craig Hopson (a Perth native) from New York’s acclaimed Le Cirque will interact with guests, talking about their homeland while serving authentic Australian cuisine from several food stations. The widely popular Australian pop/rock singer Anne McCue will perform live throughout the afternoon.
Raffle tickets for sale ($5 each) will provide a chance to win impressive prizes, some of which include a 7-night trip for two to Australia, courtesy of Aussie Experts and Down Under Answers; overnight stays at Trump Chicago and Trump International Hotel & Tower New York; and even a six-month membership at The Spa at Trump.
