Our Kids

Each year, thousands of children are abused and abandoned, often by  the people who should love them most.  At Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, we are dedicated to saving the lives of hurting, neglected and abused girls and boys-and we depend on friends like you to succeed.

And their stories would break your heart.  A young boy came to our doors after being chained to a radiator and beaten for days on end.  A girl was referred to Mercy Home after her mother was murdered-and she spent her nights scrounging for food in dumpsters and trashcans.  All of our children come from broken homes-and many bear the scars of systematic, horrible abuse.

In this section you can read some of their stories-and you'll likely be astounded by the devastation and pain they've had to overcome.  But as you read, we hope you'll find inspiration in the new beginnings our girls and boys have found-and the lives of hope and promise that were made possible by the support of gracious friends like you.
