Love, through unbearable disappointment, through betrayal, through his suffering on the cross…love. Love is what Jesus continued to do through it all. It’s an unbelievable, beautiful example of love that we are called to imitate as followers of Jesus Christ. We know it is not easy to do. How did Jesus do so? How can we love as Jesus loved? Is it possible? It is possible as long as we remember to do as Jesus did, to trust that God, to trust that his Father would be with him in all things. This is our faith. It is our hope. And it is our strength when it comes to following this beautiful and powerful example that we see in the Gospel today, love in all things.
