Associate Board; Chairman

Born: Chicago, IL

College and major: University of Dayton, political science, economics and pre-law with a minor in English. Law school at Loyola University in Chicago.

Position: Trial attorney at Motherway & Napleton, LLP

“I represent victims and families of catastrophic injuries and victims of medical malpractice and medical negligence.”

Passions outside of work:

“I’m doing the Mercy Home Heroes this year – so I’ll be running the marathon. I play men’s league hockey here and there. I do some volunteer work with Special Olympics Chicago and Misericordia as well. Spend time with family and friends.”

Favorite activities during high school:

“I played travel hockey and I also played lacrosse as well… I almost didn’t go to college to continue playing hockey. I did the whole travel thing, it was 5-6 days a week on the road, travelling to either Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, St. Louis – somewhere else in the Midwest almost every single weekend. That was a big commitment, but I really enjoyed it.”

Favorite travel destination:

“London was an awesome experience; cool town. The history of London, and the history of Rome – doing a study abroad there were probably my two favorite trips.”

Finding Mercy Home:

“It was through my dad, and it was through my aunt also – we started a foundation in her honor and we started doing work at the girls campus around 2011. When I finished up with undergrad in 2013, during my first year of law school I started tutoring at the girls campus… My second year of law school I wasn’t able to continue tutoring and I just reached out to Fr. Scott said I’d really like to stay involved with the organization and he put me in touch with the associate board and I’ve been involved ever since.”

Mercy Home Legacy:

“I truly am just happy to give back to the kids, and to give somebody an opportunity that they might not have otherwise had. I greatly benefited from having some minor interactions when I was a kid that kind of prompted me to look into doing certain things with my career and with my life.”
