Mercy Home School Resources Coordinator Jaquan “Q” Grier was the keynote speaker at the Chicago Jesuit Academy’s 12th Annual Give-A-Little Gala at Wintrust’s Grand Banking Hall.
In front of 700 people, Grier, a 2009 alumnus of CJA, delivered a fantastic speech that expressed his gratitude for his alma mater. The evening included a reception dinner, live music, and entertainment.
Grier also used his platform to talk about his role and job responsibilities at Mercy Home, and how CJA helped prepare him for a career in the Jesuit tradition of helping others.
“Chicago Jesuit Academy really helped me get to a great place in my life so that I could be in a position to give back like I am at Mercy Home,” he said. “It was an honor for me to speak at the gala.”
