Men’s BBQ Combines Summer Fun and Positive Male Role Models

Mercy Home’s Walsh Campus welcomed a group of male coworkers from the West Loop Campus for the annual Men’s BBQ last Thursday. The yearly tradition gives our young women a chance to interact with positive male role models from across the agency.

Sunny skies and warm temperatures made for an idyllic evening of camaraderie, lawn games, and great food. As burgers and hotdogs sizzled on the grill, R&B classics held the groove while kids and coworkers played volleyball and lounged in the grass. After dinner and ice cream sandwiches, a lively game of capture the flag fanned out across the backyard, as shouts and laughter echoed in the courtyard.
