There are several ways that you can volunteer at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls:
Mentor
Mercy Home’s Friends First mentoring program matches adults one-on-one with children from the Chicago area who could benefit from having a positive friendship with an adult role model. Spend a few hours a month engaged in fun, meaningful activities with a young person who can use a friend.
Tutor Spend an hour a week during the school year providing extra support and encouragement to young people living at Mercy Home. Help keep kids focused on homework and the importance of education. To request information on becoming a volunteer mentor or tutor, click here.
MercyWorks MercyWorks is a faith-based volunteer program that offers recent college graduates a unique opportunity to acquire professional experience while growing spiritually, personally and communally. Volunteers make a one year commitment to live in community with one another, while serving full-time with the children at Mercy Home.
Other Volunteer Opportunities You can also have a great time helping Mercy Home by volunteering for our Shamrocks for Kids campaign in March!
