What Our Kids Are Thankful For

Thanksgiving Thankful Tree with leaves made by the youth representing all the things they are thankful this Thanksgiving 2015

We asked some of our young people what they are grateful for this Thanksgiving season, and here’s what they said:

I am thankful for shelter and people that help me be a better person.

I’m thankful to have shoes to wear in the cold weather.

 I am thankful for family.

I’m thankful for the resources that are offered to me by Mercy, the Year Up program, and my mentor who has been an amazing role model and great friend.

I am thankful for my mom, brothers, grandma, great grandma, aunt, and God!

I’m thankful for my grandmother.

I am thankful for being able to see my family, my friends, and being able to spend time with my brother

I am thankful for my life!
