Fr. Scott Donahue and the entire Mercy Home family are grateful to the following individuals for their roles in the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls 130th Anniversary Mass, Cardinal Blase J. Cupich for presiding over this special mass, Jim Williams, who is an anchor-reporter for CBS 2 Chicago, Eileen Mitchell, Vice President for External Affairs at AT&T Illinois, Mercy Home Youth and Co-Workers, Edward Gamble, who currently serves on Mercy Home’s Board of Regents, Mya Gamble the daughter of Eddie Gamble, Charley Bartmann has been a donor to Mercy Home for 20 Years, Robert Shorty is a former Mercy Home youth who now serves on our Associates Board, Nyah Griffin is a former resident of Mercy Home and currently serves as head chef in its kitchen, Katie Keller Smith is the director of MercyWorks, Friends First volunteer mentoring and Spiritual Development programs at Mercy Home.
